From 13.07.17 to 14.07.17 the Department of Urban Planning IESL at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology organised the Innovation Forum “Urban Management” at the 6th “Global Sustainable Finance Conference” at the Karlsruhe Exhibition Center.
The Innovation Forum „Urban Management“ deals with the questions, what are global trends in urban planning, which are key issues in the transformation towards a digital city, or, if we use the more economy driven buzzword, Smart City. Beside the questions of financing Smart Cities, how to integrate Big Data into planning processe, also themefields like new and citizen centric planning concepts and methods as well as best practices examples of integration these new concepts are topics of this forum.
